How does Opti-Therm work and how do I use it?

Opti-Therm comes with 2 x red microwaveable heat sachets for heat therapy and 2 x blue freezable, malleable cryogel discs for cold therapy.

Heat Therapy

Heat therapy is used for the treatment of dry eyes, Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) and Blepharitis, grittiness and irritation, inflamed & sore eyes, nasal congestion, sinus headaches and prior to refractive surgery like LASEK/PRK.

 Cold Therapy

Cold Therapy is used for the treatment of puffy eyes, brow waxing, cosmetic (eyelid surgery) and other aesthetic procedures.

  3. Do not ingest contents of packs
  4. Do not use for purposes other than intended
  5. Check with your doctor before use on broken, irritated, highly sensitive or insensitive skin
  6. Always test the pack temperature manually before application
  7. Overheating or prolonged application may cause injury to the area including burns
  8. Excessive microwave duration may also damage the heat packs.
